Cucurbita moschata
Cucurbita moschata, an important vegetable crop, plays a key role in global diets, widely used in cooking, processing, and as a nutritional ingredient. In 2023, squash was cultivated across 1.95 million hectares worldwide, with a total yield of 31.1 million tons; China accounted for 41% of the global planting area and 47% of the total production.
This database is designed to document all genomic and transcriptomic data related to butternut squash. Additionally, we have established a mutation library derived from the butternut squash genome (PKUMo) using EMS pollen mutagenesis, which includes detailed records of mutation sites and mutant phenotypes. Those interested in obtaining these mutants may reach out via relevant contact channels (xingping.zhang@pku-iaas.edu.cn).
